We wanted to approach social messaging during the Covid-19 pandemic in a practical way, giving the people of Georgia energy efficiency tips to save money on their power bills while stay-at-home orders are in place. With so many emotional, somber ads circulating during the pandemic, we chose a light-hearted and friendly illustration style that pushed Georgia Power’s branding while maintaining their ownable look and feel.

On Instagram stories we took a more pared down approach, giving people quick, snackable tips they could easily thumb through. In addition to this, we created a more interactive story for followers to engage with the brand and share their content. We attached ourselves to the growing Bingo trend and encouraged users to add energy efficient habits to their quarantine cleaning routines by checking off the blue squares on the grid.
